I'm taking Calculus II for a six week session during this summer. I literally got an A+ in Calculus I. How similar is Calc II to Calc I? If math comes relatively easy to me do you think I should be able to pull off an A? I heard Calc II was insanely hard.

That would depend on how your school defines "Calc II," but usually Calc I consists of things like derivatives, whereas Calc II involves the reverse process, integration. If you did very well in Calc I, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't do well in Calc II. Your main enemy, however, will be time.

i've heard similar things about calc II. is calc III easier than calc II? i've heard that from a few people. here's to hoping it is...

if that is your only class, then you will be fine. I am good in math and calc 1 was a joke. Calc 2 is a little bit harder, but not too bad.

Good luck

I'm not sure when this is covered in your calculus sequence, but I thought infinite series were pretty tough.

Infinite series is Calc II

I just did Calc II in 7 weeks. It's manageable, but it went really fast so I was doing a ton of studying. I didn't do very well, but I also didn't do well in Calc I and math is definitely not my strength in general. I'd imagine that if you did well in Calc I, it shouldn't be too bad.

Like someone mentioned, it's all about time. You learn something one day, and you have to understand it by the next day or you're behind, so it really takes studying every day and staying on top of everything.
