The majority of the schools where I intend to apply ( all California schools) require a full year of college math and many specify that one semester must be calc.

I only took one semester of math in undergrad (stats) because I got AP credit for Calc 1. Now it is 6 years down the road and my math skills are super rusty. Can I take business calc in the place of science/math calc?
Will it look like I'm just taking the easy route? (because honestly that is my intent for math)
Is this something that I should ask the admissions offices of the schools directly?
BTW, I'm already taking non-calc physics so that isn't a concern.
