Cali prelim programs- CPMC or Santa Clara?

I'm applying to neurology, and have two prelim interviews: one in Santa Clara, and one at Cali Pacific Med Center. Unfortunately, my schedule is such that I can only fit one into my cali trip. Which one should I choose? I have heard that CPMC is a great program, but I wonder if it is extremely competitive? If so, and Santa Clara is less competitive, then maybe I should apply to the latter?

Is there no way you can do both interviews?
You need to be sure you get some sort of prelim spot...if not in California then elsewhere. You can't start neuro without doing your prelim year (I assume you know this, but just checking). CPMC seems like a nice hospital...I've seen it before. I don't know anything about that other place. Living in San Francisco is quite expensive and the last time I checked CPMC didn't subsidize housing, so that may factor in for you.
