wondering if anyone could provide any detailed information regarding a multitude of programs. Already checked freida, scutwork, and program websites. Looking for detailed information mostly regarding call (frequency for all four years, responsibilities while on call, inhouse/pager call, nightfloat, caps on admissions, short call/long call days, number of hospitals you cover, number of hospitals you cover at once, types of patients you are seeing at the different sites and percentage of time that you spend at the different sites, does hospital have a PES with observation capabilities or do you have to find immediate placement for every ER consult, etc... Not as interested in anyone's opinions about the programs...more interested in facts. Looking for information regarding UAB, Yale, gw, st eliz., Miami, Michigan state, maryland, henry ford, U of minnesota, dartmouth, bergen, Seton Hall (?), New mexico, UNC, Duke, Drexel, USouth carolina, Utenn, UTsouthwestern, Baylor, UWash-seattle.
I realize the list is long. Would appreciate any info. Also, this may be a good thread for people to post detailed information on call issues for any program that they know about so that the info can be collected and easily accessed by applicants as this info seems to be rarely accurate on freida and is rarely fully explained on program websites or scutwork.
thanks.
