So, in my attempt to make up for any C's on my transcript, I have been working my bootay off for A's like crazy. My goal was by the time I graduate, to get my GPA to a 3.7 and I'd be happy. My stupid plant teacher gave me an A- in her class and my overall cumulative undergrad GPA is a 3.69999999, but my transcript reads, 3.69... why couldn't they give me the stupid 3.7. God.. talk about anal!!!

Well... technically 3.699999 repeating is the same number as 3.7, there's no difference... just ask any math professor =) So, maybe you can convince the registrar's office to change it in your transcript, considering the two numbers are identical hehehe =)

I feel your pain. I started out undergrad with a 3.0, and busted my ass all the way to a 3.594.

With 3.60 I would have graduated magna cum laude instead of cum laude, and it would have looked much cooler.

There is a sociology PhD thesis just waiting to be written on internet porn (if it hasn't been written already). When I was a kid (which wasn't that long ago, but nobody I knew had any sort of internet access, that's for sure) seeing pornography was like a once-every-two years kind of event, when somebody would bring an old ratty copy of Hustler to school that they'd stolen from their dad. It was truly taboo. And you know what, I kind of miss those days. Back when porn was special... 🙁

What is the long-term effect of raising an entire generation of kids who can look at pornography whenever they want? I'm guessing it won't be good.

Magna cum laude with a 3.60?!? What school is this? The cutoff at my school for a regular cum laude is around 3.700. What's up with that? I wanna go to your school!!
