I don't have any interviews yet like many people here, so I'm getting nervous and feeling hopeless as all I got so far are just rejections. Since my GPA is average and DAT is just a little bit above average so my best bet is NYU or USC, but have not heart from them yet. I'm wondering what is best thing to do on remaining un-review or currently being reviewed application? I plan to retake the DAT in Jan. So is it better to call the school up and let them know that I am planning to retake? Or my odds would be better to just let them review and decide based on what I already got? 😕

When did you submit your AADSAS? You might want to call up UCS and NYU and ask them if they recommend a re-take but as long as you have over 16's in each category, I'll bet they'll say you're "competative." There's still hope for this cycle. Keep your chin up and gl!

Thank you for the feedback. I submit it on middle of September and applied to 20+ schools. My lowest is 16 but AA:19/TS:20/P:17 With not a great stats, I feel like I'm just throwing money away on these supplemental applications.

Certainly if you called they would say you are "competative" because you meet the minimum requirements. Submitting in Sept. is a little late, but just because you don't have any interviews before December 1st doesn't mean you won't get any. ADCOMS have huge piles of applications and it might take them a little longer to get to yours. With 20+ schools however, you're bound to be interviewed somewhere and probably admitted. My best friend submitted her application in November with mediocre grades and all 18's on the DAT and was accepted in February. A late acceptance - but, and acceptance nonetheless. GL!

You submitted your app in september? Don't worry, you still have quite some time before you have to worry. i submitted in july, and wasnt complete at most schools until september, and did not get interviews till oct.

The ones that already look at my application, it only take them less than a week to reject me. You have a high DAT so I think they would look at you more differently for you than me. But thank for you for the encouragement Envision. So you think my odds would be better in not jump so fast on letting them know that I plan on retaking the exam and just let them have time to review?
