We are a making program changes and are interested in knowing what is the call schedule for 3 rd year cardiology program?
Do you take calls from home or in house as third years.?
Is there any database describing which you know ?

I'm not a cards fellow, but I do know that the program where I am has all call in the first 2 years. 3rd years have no call (although I think they may be STEMI backup).

My program used to have two fellows on home call every night (one for consults, the other for CCU and STEMI [that was "home call" in name only]) and then this year switched to a night float system where one in-house fellow covers everything. In the new system, there is no particular difference in the volume of call across the three years except there the first year fellows don't take call the first couple of months.
