Are there any UCLA/USC students out there who can give me some idea if the above schools accept older students. I would be 40 at the beginning of the MD program!!

UCLA is notorious amongs Calif applicants for their preference for traditional applicants. USC has a number of students in upper 20's, mid to late 30's every year; forties are more rare, but there are fewer applicants in this age group as well. The osteopathic school in Pomona, about 35 miles east of USC, is probably the best bet for the applicant at the 40 mark, but I would not exclude USC. Best wishes!

I am at USC right now, and they appear to be okay with accepting older students.
