Hey guys, i'm just curious about something:
I have an interview tomorrow and i've been accepted to some Caribbean schools as well, I was wondering if they can see that i've been accepted there? It just seems like i'm desperate, so I just want to assure they can't see that.

MSU MD couldn't see that I was accepted to MSU DO, so I don't see how a medical school in the United States could see if you have been accepted internationally. Schools have no way of knowing this information even if they share the same application service (AACOMAS or AMCAS), so I don't think you need to worry at all with your case being international.

This part is not entirely accurate. After a certain date on AMCAS, schools that you applied to can see all schools that you were accepted to (on AMCAS). I'm not sure about the specifics of it (who knows exactly what the schools see), but it says it pretty clearly on the AMCAS info.

Anyways, with regards to OP's question, stop being so paranoid. No schools are going to know you applied to or were accepted to Carib schools. Also, it won't matter even if they did know. You really think they'd reject you because they think you look desperate? You should look desperate. You want more than anything to be a physician. Its your calling, its your dream, and you'll do whatever it takes to make it happen (or at least that's what all schools you apply to should think). Most people who get into a US school end up going there (as they should), so I strongly doubt applying to the Carib as a backup will make you look bad to other schools, even if they did know. That said, they don't, unless maybe you tell them, but there's no point in that.

What date is that?

I honestly don't remember, you'd have to look it up. I think it was some time in Feb/Mar though. Anyways, it really doesn't matter. If you got no acceptances, it doesn't matter (won't affect anything), if you got one at a worse school the better schools seeing it will still believe you'll come to them, and if you got one at a better school you'd go there, so it wouldn't matter where else you got into.
