I have an interview at UCLA this thurs 10/31 and I wanted to know what the interview is like. Do they ask difficult questions? I was told that there are 2 faculty interviews and an essay portion. Other than that i don't know.

I just heard that the interview is pretty formal and they ask some tough questions. So be prepared.

My essay question at UCLA last year was to discuss some ethical issues that one may encounter in dentistry.

I sort of knew something like that may come along so I read a book on ethical issues in dentistry beforehand.

I think that UCSF, UCLA, and Harvard all have very formal, and tough interviews. Nevertheless, a little extra preparation on your part will go a loooooooooong way! Good luck!

Can you recommend any book to read to prepare for interview? Which book did you use to understand the ethical issues in dentistry? Thank you so much for your help
