Can anyone tell me UAB School of Dentistry?

How is living in Birmingham? How is the educational experience? Is the city/school family friendly? Is it possible to switch to in-state tuition for OOS students?

I am married with very young children so location plays a large part in my decision as to which dental school I attend (assuming I have a choice). Thanks

UAB was named the #1 dental school for research this past year and has an excellent reputation. I interviewed July 31st and it was a great experience.

The school is very family friendly. The campus is downtown Birmingham so it may be difficult for housing a small family if you want to live close to campus.

As far as switching to in-state from OOS I don't believe it's possible from what they were telling me. That could change in the future but it sounded as though they were quite particular on their residency. Good luck!
