Hey everyone, this question is more geared to the people that have been accepted. I wanted to know if there is anything that can be done between the interview and a decision on you being sent. I interviewed at EVMS on 9/8 and I loved the school, but for some reason I worry that it didn't come across in the interview. I sent a thank you card to my interviewers and the admissions director. Has anyone here ever done more which they feel might have influenced their acceptance?

keep them updated. let them know that youre highly interested.

So do you think this would best be done by just calling? I don't know the proper way to do it without sounding obnoxious.

No, send them a letter telling them what you're doing now, like "Hey, Harvard, just wanted to let you know that my new genetic recombination theory worked, and the cancers are GONE! Not only that, but I got another 4.0 while taking 25 credits at the 700+ level."

Maybe not QUITE like that, but let them know that you're still expanding your profile, and give specific reasons why you'd like to go there.

can u do anything between ure complete application and before you get an interview?

Actually, you can. I had sent a letter after my secondary to some of the schools. The thing with me is that I have already graduated and am working as a clinical research assistant. It's been a slow month. Since EVMS says they send out a decision in 3-4 weeks, it might be useless to send out a letter. Is calling or emailing out of the question?

you can email your interest in the school, but it is better to do everything in writing.
