Currently: Senior at top 15.
sGPA: 3.1, includes CC
cGPA: 3.2, does not include CC so higher
MCAT: not yet, but I have now and my spring quarter free to study for it.

Clinical:
Hospital/Clinic

MISC:
Tutor/TA
Helping low-income college-bound seniors.

Lab:
Summer at lab (amazing experience)
Lab aide for a PI (did a lot, but not much of importance)
Volunteer in a Neuroanatomy lab

Starting:
Animal shelter/homeless shelter/future lab TA.
Major research with a post-doc

Need:
Shadowing, establishing more relationships with profs.

After this quarter I believe I will have it up to a 3.20 sGPA and by the end of the year 3.40, 3.30 conservatively.

Can I theoretically apply this June? I do have to take the MCAT but will not have any classes but research in the spring.

Or is my year of good grades/lack of ECs not good enough?

I wouldn't. You should try and fix your GPA first

Hmm..unless you're planning low-tier DO schools, you're GPA will get you screened out of most MD schools unfortunately. I would wait if I were you.

Just apply DO - assuming your MCAT comes out ok.
