i submitted my amcas for verification yesterday. i will receive letters within the next week that i want to add to schools. can i add these to schools while amcas is verifying my application without leaving my queue?

LORs (along with MCAT) have nothing to do with the verification process. You can do anything with LORs at any time after submitting the primary except delete an LOR entry.

Just for clarity: You can’t delete an LOR entry but you can inform AMCAS (and the schools you are applying to) to no longer expect a LOR listed on your AMCAS. If you send in that letter anyway, amcas will forward it to the schools you had originally marked to receive that letter.

I advise applicant NOT to do this. While the systems are separate, there is no benefit to assigning letters prior to initial application transmission as no letters are sent until that time . Letters that are in AMCAS and assigned to schools will be forwarded in 1 business day. I suggest you wait

why not? i already have the lors im sending, why not assign them?
