I understand that the writing section really has no effect whatsoever on medical school applications.

I was wondering, what is preventing us from just... skipping it? Or perhaps just writing the absolute bare minimum?

My understanding is that it doesn't matter unless you score a J or K.

I'm not exactly skipping it but I am planning on writing the bare minimum while still following the guidelines stated in the prompt. I will basically be treating it as an extended mental break before BS section.

Just follow the prompt and address everything it asks you. I had no problem writing each essay in 10 minutes.

If you just write gibberish or skip it altogether then you will get an "X" which probably looks terrible. Just write an easy essay that makes sense and you're golden.

And all this time I thought "T" was the highest score possible :meanie:
