For MD schools, you can just send the letters to AMCAS, so it is straightforward.
However, for DO schools, you have to send letters to schools yourself..
Can I send the letters before my primary app is verified? or should I send them only after I got the sec apps?

For majority of the DO schools, rec letters are sent in when you submit your secondaries. So I think you should wait until you receive secondaries first. Otherwise you could potentially waste 6 dolla on a school that wouldn't give you a secondary. Or it could get lost or unmatched with your app if you send to schools too early.

Yeah man. No real benefit to sending now. Wait and send them with your secondary. It literally takes a half day for them to receive them from Interfolio.

Is interfolio similar to amcas in that the letter writer can directly upload the
Letter online and then you pick which schools the letter goes too?

I'm trying to figure out when I should set interfolio up. I submitted my primary last week.

Yes, they can upload directly once you place a request.
