I've made a huge mistake. I found out that one of the schools I'm applying to requires 3 psychology credits. Since I have AP Psych. credits, I didn't take any psychology courses in college. I've graduated already... So can I take psychology at some public university or community college to satisfy the med school's requirement?

Call your counselor/adviser from your Alma mater.

I'm assuming that you are not applying this cycle?

Yes
or community college
At most medical schools, yes. The only school I can think of off the top of my head that doesn't accept CC credits is Johns Hopkins, but there may be more. You should call the schools you are interested in applying to and ask.

I want to apply this cycle and take the class in the fall. Is that acceptable? If not, I'll have to apply next cycle.

Are you sure your AP psych will not satisfy that requirement? It absolutely should be sufficient if it appears on your college transcript.

Yeah, I'm sure. I called them and they said no.

Well you can still apply to other schools. You should also ask that school if they are ok with you completing that pre-req prior to matriculating rather than prior to applying.
