I am 1yr post bachelors and I am working now and have no clue where I am on the timline. Could some one give me a break down from month to month on the average when I should start applying taking DAT ..etc?

For this cycle, if you have yet to take the DAT, you are pretty much too late. However, for next cycle (starting D school Fall 2008), you should apply early. This means applying in June. You can take the DAT before or after you actually turn in your application. I would advise you to take the DAT sometime in August at the latest.

Dude, you can still get into school for the 2007 cycle. Start studying now, tanke the DAT in a month, during that month make sure to complete your AADSAS application and send in everything that needs to be sent it. You may not be able to get into competitive schools but I know a girl who applied in like April and got into NYU for that year. Don't waste a whole year because its a little late. Also I warn you, STAY ON TOP OF YOUR APPLICATION PROCESS. Make sure you call your school, AADSAS, and all the dental schools you are applying to and dont stop badgering them until you know they did what they have to do. None of these institutions will get anything done unless you force them to do it. I was lax about it and I was held back a full month and a half because of it. Good luck

I agree wit the above post definitely at least make an attempt to apply as early as possible your not losing much. Worst thign that can happen is you reapply best thing you can save a year. Good Luck!
