a lot of people i talk to believe that it is a percentile I am pretty sure it isn't. Are there any pros who know about this?

If it isn't a percentile, then what the hell is the point of having two scores?

It's a scale set at 75 passing to meet legal requirements of some states' licensing laws. I guess people just like having their doctors get at least a 75 on their boards, even if it is an arbitrarily set 75.
