Can someone give me the typical Number of hours worked per week for the different specialties

I would argue this varies wildly depending on where you are at in your career and what you want your practice to be. Traditionally, I believe psych is fairly 9-5, as is derm. EM works less hours usually but the schedule often kills those who can't hack shift work. Surgery is usually more, at least through training. But again, talk to docs and see my original statement.

So this is why so many people want dermatology lol

Near the top of the income distribution for medicine (Mohs surgeons make an absurd amount of money) and close to the bottom for work hours. Suddenly you discover a passion for skin.

A lot depends on the size of the town. It is normally harder for a small town to fill roles so they typically offer things like a better quality of life.
