Can someone please help me?

Hey guys, just wanted to make sure about this. I ranked both categorical medicine and 3 year anesthesia programs. My rank list looked like:
1. 3 yr anesthesia (advanced)
2. 3 yr anesthesia (advanced)
3. 3 yr cat med

(basically)
If i matched into a 3 yr anesthesia program i was planning on scrambling somewhere for a prelim spot. On monday my screen read "congratualtions you have matched" can i assume that means into medicine? Would they have told me if i needed to scramble?

If you ranked anesthesia with prelim medicine programs, it means you matched at either anesthesia + prelim OR categorical medicine.

If you didn't have a prelim ranked with your anesthesia spots, it probably means you matched medicine. Try not to speculate too much its <24 hours away. Good luck!
