hello seniors. Is it possible to schedule 6-7 interviews in one or two days? or do i need to stretch them out in 3 days? And how long does a typical interview last?

And does a program has to be there for all the weekend? or they can just stay one day?

for ex: If Inova is coming in weekend -1. Do they have to be there for all three days of weekend or they can just say " we are here only on sunday" so now we have to schedule only on sunday?

I highly recommend not scheduling more than 3-4 interviews in one day. I had 4 my first day last year and by my 4th, I was useless and lost out on a decent program because I interviewed so poorly. Things worked out exactly how they were supposed too, but you want to be as sharp as you can for every interview. They are stressful and you go in ultra prepared, but by the end, you are just mentally spent. Programs can come and stay for as long as they want, if they feel they can get an accurate and good fit for their program in one day, then that's all they have to stay. Remember, it's not required for programs to even attend interviews, some programs don't even participate in CRIPS.

If you're interviewing at 6-8 interviews, I'd stretch it out over 3-4 days, remember as well, these are just primary interviews, a lot of programs do callbacks and they can often times be just as difficult (if not more) than the primary. My program's callbacks are pretty tough, tougher than a lot of programs primary interviews. Just a thought.
