So my professor uploads the LOR to interfolio with my AMCAS ID # included. Then i go to AMCAS website and get a letter request form which has a LETTER ID#. Now I take these 2 Letters (request form , and letter my professor sent) and send them both to AMCAS then ? Is this correct ? From there on , I can apply to any of the schools, and they will see my letters cause there on AMCAS correct ?

Thanks a bunch

You actually don't need the prof to put your AMCAS ID on it. YOU can put it on there directly in Interfolio.

Just have the prof upload the letter, making sure that it is on letterhead and SIGNED (can't tell you what a frustration that one can be.....profs like to forget basic things😉)

Then, when you send it to AMCAS, you can designate that your AMCAS ID and Letter ID be placed on any and all pages. It will actually go directly to AMCAS electronically, usually the next day.

Then, the rest is correct. You can apply the letters to any schools you want.

You can even apply the letter to schools BEFORE it arrives from Interfolio; by "creating" the letter in AMCAS and getting a letter ID, you are then able to apply that letter to any school you wish. Then, the moment it arrives from Interfolio it will be available to the schools it was assigned to.
