just write "electrolytes". The key is not to use some abbreviation that people might not use at other hospitals. For instance: BMP/Chem7

BMP includes electrolytes (Na,K,Cl,HCO3, Glc and BUN/Creatinine = Chem7) (some places include Ca). I passed the exam and on each patient I wanted these I wrote "electrolytes+BUN/Cr." A physician scores this section of the exams, with that in mind they will know what a BMP stands for. Further I have friends who went so far as to write CMP which is a BMP plus liver function tests. They also passed the exam.

I also wrote "electrolytes" and I passed. Although for LFTs I did write out bili/AST/ALT/Alk. phos

it doesn't matter what you write as long as you speak english fluently and aren't annoying or weird or creepy
