Can we send DAT score personally or by ADA?

I go to register for DAT, and the cost to send to each additional school is $10. If added up, it costs alot. I just wonder that if I can send the scores by myself (I think this is not official?) after I take the test, or it has to send by ADA. Thanks

Yep, you have to have it sent by the ADA. And yes, the costs certainly do add up. When you add on the secondaries, and the expenses to travel to interviews, you'll find that it can easily become a very costly process.

Of course, it is all worth it in the end 😀

I almost forgot to share one of my personal experiences...

When I filled out the DAT registration form I asked for my scores to be sent to 12 schools, but after taking the test and seeing my scores I had to reevaluate some of the schools I was applying to. Because of this, I blew $10 on several schools and ended up not even applying to those schools.

I wonder how many schools get DAT scores from applicants but nothing else?

Just curious, how many schools did you apply to. I think you and i have similar numbers, and i'm trying to decide between applying to only 5 schools or upwards of 8.
