Can you be considered for interviews if schools have secondaries and LOR but no MCAT?

Hello,

I wondered if I might be considered for interviews once schools have my secondaries and LORs, but no MCAT score (taking this August.) My pre-med advisor seemed to imply this would be possible--is he wrong?

Thanks,

T

Think about that. Would you spend the money to interview a bunch of candidates that you had clue were even up to par with the standards. Unless you have a 4.0 from a recognized school...i doubt it, even then.

NO, but i have heard of people getting interviews without LORs in yet.

The combination of the above responses is correct.

No LOR or missing ones is viewed as okay at some schools (not many).

Missing MCAT scores is the kiss of death, unless you are applying to a school that will substitute GRE or SAT plus high GPA (only a hand full).

So, make sure you have both of these things under wraps. Best of luck. 👍 :luck:

No.

Don't worry though. Schools save plenty of interview slots for late MCAT'ers.
