I need to narrow down the list of school I am applying to... I picked 3 schools already and I still want to pick 2 or 3 among the following schools: University of Louisville, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, Boston University, Nova Southeastern University.
Can you give me feedbacks about the pros and cons of each one of these.
PS: I am an OOS for all four
I appreciate it a lot 🙂

buy a adea book or do your research online.

UofL - I am not sure if they are OOS friendly
BU - a good shot since it's priva
ASDOH - apply if you have good amount of volunteer and shadowing hours
Nova - a decent shot but they interview tons of people

Why not try applying yo NYU, USC?

What are your DAT score and GPA? It would be better to figure them out for you i f they are available?

I have the adea book and went through it.... My stats fit those schools so I have a shot there... but I care about safety around campus, living expenses, the atmosphere on campus, and most importantly if there is any problem completing the graduation requirement for the clinic...

Predent68 thank you for your feedbacks, and UofL is almost 50-50 in state and out of state... Do you have any idea how many volunteering and shadowing hours they look for??

I can only comment on UofL and Nova. I absolutely loved UofL and it was a difficult decision between them and the school I'll be attending. Everyone there was extremely friendly and the school was awesome. The city itself has a lot to offer but like an other big city, there are some sketchy parts of town even though the school is in a safe place. As for volunteering and shadowing hours you don't need anything extradordinary. I had about 80 shadowing hours and got an acceptance (although it will never hurt you to have more). For UofL once you get an interview it comes down to the interview day. After that, they seem to be focused on your personality and how well you interview. As for Nova, I liked the school and everyone seemed nice but I'm from Florida so I figured if I'd be paying that tuition I'd rather go out of state and experience something new, amongst other things I've heard about the school. Nova is located in a pretty small city right outside Ft. Lauderdale so its pretty safe, from what I've heard, but close to a lot of fun things for when you have some down time. PM me if you have any other questions 🙂
