Yeah, so the subject line says it all. This question stemmed from an NBME (different question entirely, so this is not a spoiler) that made me consider this concept.
On a related note, what are some factors that only affect internal validity but do not affect external validity (not the same question as above, but somewhat related, as in, are there factors that affect ONLY internal validity specifically but do not speak to the external validity of the study)?
