Can you use old MCAT if you're writing new?

I want to apply this coming cycle and I have an old MCAT from 2013 that I would like to use. However, I'm also writing 2015 MCAT in August. I know it is important to submit early. Would I be able to apply early with my current MCAT(from 2013) even though I'm writing the 2015 one?

If your 2013 MCAT score is decent I wouldn't retake in August. August MCAT means schools will get your scores in September. That means you are submitting secondaries in mid to late September or early October. Applying early is a considerable advantage.

I have a good MCAT score. However, I also want to apply to Canadian schools which require the new MCAT.

Just confirming. The majority of schools will consider my application incomplete with a pending MCAT even though my old score is still valid. Is this correct?

This is important information for me on deciding whether to rewrite

Thank you!

Some will, others will consider you complete with the "old" MCAT. You will need to check their websites to clarify.
