Hi, I was just wondering what exactly is covered on the Canadian OAT. I know it says Natural Sciences, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physics and such. But would Microbiology and Biochemistry be covered on it ? Also since only one Organic chemistry (Chem 261) is required would only that one be covered on it?

Thank you !!

Natural sciences is basically your biology courses like genetics, ecology, cellular respiration, embryo etc. Biochemistry wasn't a a part of it, and neither was microbiology. I highly recommend getting the Kaplan OAT books as it covers pretty much everything you have to know.

I'm pretty sure they are offered year round. Although if you want to apply for Waterloo, you usually take it before September in the same year that you are applying.
