I apologize to all of the members but this is the 3rd post I have made regarding this topic. But I figured I wouuld try in multiple places because the nature of the topic.

I am a Canadian who got a residency position in the US.
I am unclear about how to "provide documentetaion confirming that the training program in Family Medicine in the United States is ACGME-accredited and recognized by the college of family Physicians of Canada".

Also, "provide a practicable action plan that ensures your training will satisfy the College of Family Physicians of Canada towards certification and that demostrates how and when you will ahcieve full licensure in the provice of residency where you will practice family medicine.'''

I know this is a little winded but I am not getting the answer from Canada so I figured I would give it a shot here. I hope someone can answer these questions.

Well, I can help with the first one. Your new program coordinator should be able to provide you with a one-line letter, signed by the program director, that the residency is ACGME accredited.

The rest sounds like you either need help from Canucks who have been through this before or get your hands on the requirements of the Canadian College of FP.
