Hello all, I'm a little confused as to some conflicting data I am receiving regarding GPA calculations.

This semester, it looks like I will be receiving between 75-79 in one of my classes...now when I did a search for this on the web, for some reason it brings up older threads saying between 70-80 is a B range for Canadian schools (I attend a Canadian school), while that range is a C for American schools.
(Just for reference, my school is switching to numerical grades on our transcripts this semester. If I would have taken this class last semester I would have got a B to B+)

I have interviewed at one school already, and have already graduated. I am contemplating dropping this course if I am going to receive a C in it...this would be my first withdrawal on my transcript, if that makes any difference. Anyone have any helpful info?

C<W<B, if you're going to get a C just drop the class. Your GPA matters more than one withdrawal.

Q: How do I convert the numeric grades on my transcript to an ADEA AADSAS letter grade?

A: Review the information portion of your transcript (usually located on the back of your transcript) to determine if grade equivalencies are provided. Many schools provide information about grade equivalencies on their Registrar's website. If you can find no equivalencies, contact ADEA Customer Service at (617) 612-2045, or [email protected].

Otherwise, I don't think one W will matter too much, definitely better than getting a C.
