Any Canadian applicants around?? What have you guys heard back?

I submitted my application in July... applied to UDM, USC, UoP, BU, Neb, Nova

I haven't received any interviews yett!! And i'm scared I wont get any.. What do you guys think? I've been under review at USC, UoP, BU for months!!!

Science GPA: 3.48
Non-Science GPA: 3.62
Total: 3.52

DAT: Bio 17, Chem 15, RC 21, AA 17, PAT 21, Carving 22 (I know i majorly messed up in the academic portioN!!)

hey fellow Canadian
Your GPA is good; however, your DAT is a bit too low
I really think you should retake and get higher marks
On top of that, many schools in the states prefer US DAT over Canada DAT
I would strongly recommend you to take US DAT

My stat is a bit lower than yours
GPA 3.25
DAT 22/22/21

Gotten 3 interviews so far, Nova, Columbia and Michigan
Tufts, USC, BU, Pitts and Nova are pretty much done for Pre December interviews
UoP is almost done

I applied to Midwestern and they have a hold on my application because of a TOEFL exam. I haven't taken it and they're saying anyone who is not a permanent US resident / citizen has to take it. Whats the deal with that? How many Canadians here have taken it?

i have higher gpa and similar dat score(21/22/21)
i only got rejection from nova and nothing from other schools
i applied in july and i dont think mine was late
is ur EC good?

yep all canadian should take TOEFL
that's why i didnt apply to midwestern lol

My application was sent out 7/17 (third batch)
I got rejected by Case
I have some good EC
300 shadowing
2 months in Peru
Music/ sports etc

Hey actually I called Midwestern and talked to the advisor, I was offered an interview before that TOEFL thing popped up on their website. She said that it's possible to get acceptance without TOEFL, but the acceptance will be conditional upon you taking the TOEFL.. So I guess after you get accepted and then you realize you really want to go to Midwestern, you can take it. She told me that you needed to get above 100 for the computer version.

I am not sure if they are just doing this for people who were already offered interview before that TOEFL requirement was added.
