How difficult is getting a residency for Canadian DOs? I assume FM would be okay to get but would ER be difficult or Anesthesiology? How likely is a non-primary care residency?
And if possible, how do you think the merger will affect Canadian DOs? Will it be good or bad for us considering we are already at a disadvantage compared to American DOs? I am just concerned with the costs since I'm going to be graduating in 2021 and the merge happens in 2020 I believe.
