I was hoping someone here had some insight into the Canadian exams for Anesthesiology. I passed the ABA exams a few years ago and am currently studying as if I were re-taking those, but it would be helpful to have some suggestions more specific to the Canadian exam. The only info I have is what is posted on the RCPSC website, which is rather generic and limited. Thank you in advance.

Are you working in Canada currently? Taking the exam this year?

Not working in Canada, but taking the exam this year.

Ok good luck.
The exams are very specific. They use Miller and barash and cas/cja articles guidelines. Your best bet is to get in with a resident group that's taking it although they would have started studying 8 months ago now or more. I understand the exam. Is very different to the US exam

I didn't know if I was eligible 8 months ago. Hopefully I only need to take the exam once.

Hello
I am trying to get in to a residents group (anesthesiolgy). Any one willing to help?
