I have a 3.72-3.77 (not yet verified) cgpa, and 36 MCAT. ECs are average, maybe a little below average. Which Canadian friendly schools do I have a decent chance at? Help!

I currently have:
Wayne State
Dartmouth
Emory
Tulane
Stanford
Michigan
Rosalind Franklin

and a couple of DO schools....
any other suggestions?

Unless you're a US citizen or permanent resident, I'd take Michigan off the list.

MSAR is your best friend when choosing schools. Strictly from academic stats, some schools to consider are Michigan State, GWU, VCU, Boston, Jefferson, Penn State, St. Louis, Case Western. Top private schools are also good choices if you have research experiences.

Michigan College of Human Medicine interviews and has taken Canadians from Ontario.

Your stats are on par or above average for Canadians for USMD. No point applying DO.

Definitely good for MD, I second that you don't need to apply to DO.

My concern is my weak ECs... I volunteered in a research lab for 8 months but it wasn't anything significant. I also have some clinical and shadowing experience but compared to the number of hours I see on SDN... my experience seems pretty sub-par. It's probably best that I don't bother with research focused schools. Is there any that I should cross off my list?
