I am looking for feedback on my current school list, my app is going to be verified next week so I will be adding schools then (currently only have Wayne). I have heard horror story of high stat applicants being rejected so I don't mind casting a wider net if that will help me gain an acceptance. Additionally, I am an international applicant so I know it is more difficult for us. Please let me know if you think there are any schools I should add to this list or any schools I should remove if you think there is virtually no chance of getting an A.

Thank you!

You could add these schools:
Georgetown
Mount Sinai
Medical College Wisconsin
Michigan State
Tulane
For DO schools you could add NSU-KPCOM, WESTERN, Touro-NY, UNECOM.

Thank you Faha!

I am also thinking of adding Feinberg, I think the MSAR stats are a little misleading since it shows 0 internationals accepted but >20 interviewed and when you go to countries represented Canada and others appear. Also on their website they show that many matriculants come from outside the US.

I am a bit worried about 'yield protection' for some schools, any thoughts @Goro @Moko @wysdoc @Mr.Smile12 I have seen from other WAMC you guys are very knowledgable about school lists. I want to ensure I am not wasting time applying to certain schools so I can give my 100% to my secondaries.

Thank you for the help!

It's hard to suggest lists for internationals. For a superstar, go for those schools that accepted > 1 international and hope for the best.

Thank you! I am wondering a bit about the DO schools on list, should I add anymore?

Illinois, Colorado and Tulane from @Faha are probs non-Canadian friendly. I think Columbia is Canadian-friendly as well? Although I don't have an access to MSAR rn. If you're interested in getting financial aid, check if above schools are open to giving any form of aid to international students. Other than that, solid list for a Canadian😍😍

Hard to say if there really is/whether Canadians are really affected by yield protection. If I was you, I *might* focus less on apps for GW, Georgetown, NYMC, Wayne.

Thanks! Columbia is very international unfriendly unfortunately. I dropped Tulane but it appears Illinois and Colorado are relatively friendly to us Canadians (according to MSAR and SDN/reddit anecdotes).
