Canceling application to some schools

How would I go about doing this? I e-submitted already. I was in a hurry, but now that I don't think a few of the schools I designated are worthwhile.

I am thinking of just not sending my secondary application fees to a few schools, because some of the secondaries (such as detroit mercy) might be too bothersome, and some like UPenn have secondaries and I don't really think I will even have any chance.

So I guess if I do not send them the fees, will they crack open my folder? Will I need to write a letter to them or something if I did not send in my secondary app fee?

High school transcripts

International Applicants:
Course-By-Course Evaluation Report prepared by the Education Credential Evaluators, Inc.
Official TOEFL IBT results (100 total/25 each section)
Official U.S. college/university transcript for one year of academic study (32 semester hours)

I am not sure how I will go about this especially since I am in the states right now
