Walgreens keeps spending millions of dollars to buy out independent pharmacies in my district, even those that are faltering and probably won't last a few more years on their own, and then closing them down.

At the same time, the company continues to cut hours to save money, making us understaffed and customers complain about the long wait. Also, the equipment seriously need to be replaced because it keeps breaking down and further pissing off customers because we have to tell them to check back later because like due to computer errors we cannot process their prescriptions now and we have no idea when things will get back on track.

I don't see how wasting so much money to get rid of competitors that barely stand in your way instead of updating the vital tools of the company's business operations to keep customers happy makes good business strategy. Sometimes I can't help but wonder whether the CEO of Walgreens got his degree online.

You choose to work for them....dumb choice in my opinion.
