What is the mechanism beyond decreasing contractility in acidosis ?
 
In acidosis, the amount of H+ in the blood is buffered to some extent by its movement into cells. As a result, K+ leaves cells. As K+ leaves the cells throughout the body, a hyperkalemic state develops. This alters the electrochemical gradients in the cardiac tissue, and consequently decreases contractility.

Hyperkalemic state causes problems with excitability but how does it affect contractility ?
