hey guys, how do u know for this graph (AR) where the murmur intensity peak is?
What do you look for ? They ask that for all the types of murmurs and I miss those qs.

appreciate it

Aortic regurg is most intense right after S2, so right after the aortic valve closes, which I guess corresponds to D?

hey! thanks so the answer actually is C . It has to do with AR being early diastolic , and thats C on the graph. I think I get it now after staring at it for awhile <_>

The aortic valve closes as soon as the aortic pressure exceeds the left ventricular pressure. The point at which the AR murmur is maximum in intensity is when the aorto-ventricular pressure gradient is the greatest because the flow is strongest at that time, but the aortic pressure must also be high enough to cause significant flow across the valve. This is represented at point C.
