Hello there,

are we supposed to rant about our dreams in the career objectives and make it sound personal or just state a mere academia/ private practice/ Community
I am sending my application late, hope a one week delay is not critical :scared:

thanks

Kima

You only get two lines, so it has to be short and sweet! You can say whatever you like, but bear in mind that if you state you want to be a general neurologist, that may not put you in good stead with high-powered, research-oriented university programs and vice versa. So choose words wisely! If you do want to do research or teaching or have fellowship aspirations, that's the kind of thing you could list.

And remember, Aug 31st was a target date, not a deadline, so you're not 'late'. 🙂 The more important date is the earliest ap deadline of programs to which you wish to apply - minus three weeks for CAS processing. Good luck!
