Note-
I have no geographical preference as I am an international student. No instate tuition or scholarships. I would be happy in any of these places and was hoping to get some insights on what stands out between these schools or what your choices would be if you were in my shoes.
-Any negative or positive experiences would be great too.
I'm stuck trying to decide and I want to free up spots for other candidates on the WL.

Im looking at this as UVA vs Case. The other schools arent on both those schools level

Accepted to Tulane and Case so I know more about those two. Didn't apply to UVA or Georgetown.

Tulane: diverse patient populations (both racial and socioeconomic), nearly a dozen free health clinics with specialty care (e.g. hepatology, cardiology, etc. Pretty rare among health clinics at med schools.). Started the culinary medicine trend. 4 year MD/MPH strong for infectious disease/tropical medicine. Well-equipped gym across from study lounge in new med school building. Underrated given reputation in clinical training. Most chill students ever.

Case Western: 4 different hospitals with very different patient populations/missions. Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital, VA (third-largest nationally), and MetroHealth (safety net). Only game in town. Not sharing hospitals with other medical schools (CCLCM doesn't really count). New health campus. Large class can sustain variety of interest groups. AND THEY ARE LITERALLY PUMPING OUT SURGEONS OVER THERE. if that interests you, check out the last few match lists.

Georgetown: By virtue of location, potentially better if pursuing government or health policy work in your future MD career. Don't know much else about program.

UVA: All I know is T25 with high median MCAT and a beautiful campus.

I'd vote Case, but that's based off my own values.

I would pick Case.

Since you're an international student just a few pieces of information to remind you of (sorry if they seem overly obvious)

UVA is in a very rural area. It is a small college town. some people like that but many get bored of it. While it has gotten more diverse in the past couple decades it is still primarily not diverse.

Georgetown is in DC. It is a fun, friendly, lively city. I think it would be great for an international student. Georgetown undergrad is prestigious but the medical school is not as well ranked. I really like the school so I would maybe still consider it but I am not quite sure where your priorities lie. It will likely be one of your most expensive options. But it has a lot of great opportunities being that it is in DC.

Tulane is in New Orleans. It is a very fun city in the south - so a bit of a different vibe than Case for example - friendly and good food. Tulane has a lot of interesting infectious disease cases and public health problems. I think this would be a very interesting place to go. Again not quite as highly ranked as Case or UVA but I don't really think the differences in prestige in these schools are large enough to result in different career outcomes.

Case is in Cleveland. A lot of people think it is actually a really fun city for young people and has more opportunities than Charlottesville for example (where UVA is). Case is a really strong school that is why I picked it for you but really I don't think you can go wrong with your choices. I would say not UVA because I think you will be a bit less entertained and more isolated in Charlottesville. I would say Case if your most important factor is school rep. And I would say Georgetown or Tulane is you are most looking forward to living in a fun, fairly warm city (Tulane is warmer than Georgetown although Georgetown is still pretty mild in the winter). Tulane would get the edge if you are interested in infectious disease, global health, cardiovascular diseases, and Georgetown would get the bump if you were interested in health policy or orthopedic surgery in my eyes

Would agree with post above me for the most part. All are great options, but if you can tolerate Cleveland I would go to Case. Thry are a prime example of why not to trust USNWR-they are severely underranked by the magazine and have an absolute top notch reputation in medicine. Their match outcomes are outstanding evety year and a cut above the rest of your options. And while Gtwown is strong in ortho, keep in mind Case matched 18 into ortho this year. They are a well-oiled machine in terms of getting their graduates where they want to, and I would highly recommend Case assuming cost is similar and you can tolerate Cleveland.

Georgetown. As an international it would be the best location for you. Cleveland can be very cold for 6 months of the year
