Case Western AADSAS status

I just checked the AADSAS portal and under Case, it says
"Please check back on December 1 for more information regarding your decision status with this school"

This doesn't make sense to me. I didn't get an interview invite or a rejection. What's going on?

Mine said that for Indiana, right after I got my interview invite, but then it updated to "invited for interview". So I'm not sure what it means or why it comes up... 😕

On the bright side, we are not rejected yet, but
it looks like they have no intention of inviting us for a pre-december interview either.

That's what my UCSF status changed to when I was rejected.

I have the same update and the schools that already rejected me shows the same thing.

Of course all those school rejected me before the portal updated. Case might just be lazy at emailing people rejections now or prefer a bulk rate for around december for snail mail rejection.

I didn't apply to case last year so i don't know how they reject people.

My AADSAS was updated to this as well. I got an email rejection from them last week though. 👎

Because mine says "Please check back on December 1 for more information regarding your decision status with this school"

cedar, you should probably publish all your info somewhere, your hiding your stats and schools like its fort knox lol I know predents is a scary place but try to contribute back to the community that gives you so much. 🙂

and yes I have received/under review on mine. No dec 1 information.

Haha, nothing to hide. I just haven't gotten around to actually putting up my scores after I made my PreDent, between trying to do well in my classes and attending interviews, and frankly, I don't even know where my score sheet is anymore 🙄

I have a post I made back in June when I took the DATs with all the schools and my scores if anyone is so curious as to what my stats are.

Actually they've already booked all the way up into March. The first open date in mid-August, when I got my invite was Jan 11th, so I'm sure it's much farther along now (and stats on predents say the same). That being said, I'm sure people will cancel quite a few of those interviews after Dec 1, so maybe that's when they'll start re-reviewing to fill up those spots again.

Since Case loves candidates with super high stats, could it be possible that they schedule interview dates by rank in stats meaning higher stats get earlier dates while lower stats get later dates?

It's similar to trying to pick up a girl at a bar. If you start with the hottest one and work your way down, then you'll be sure to reach your potential, whereas if you start with a mediocre one and work your way up, then there's that uncertainty of underachieving.

Thus, Case may employ the same tactic. If that's the case (pun intended), then there could very well be open spots for pre-Dec interviews. You just need high enough stats to score one.

Sounds like a good theory... maybe it's partially true? But assuming that no one lies on predents 🙂laugh🙂 the stats are kind of all over the place...

I'm not assuming anything in this, but I just made Case a designation on my AADSAS the other day and they just mailed it out today. Just want to see what their process is like.

Is it strange that mine still says "Received/Under Review" (no interview invite) and that I don't even have anything about IU on AADSAS?
