I also called Case dental school this morning to ask why my application got denied for admissions.

They said that had my application been completed prior to the end of August, they would have considered me for an interview.

They had to wait on my application since I had to re-take my DAT in September.

Perhaps this is the reason why many outstanding applicants here at SDN were turned down by Case?

Plus noticed how many SDNers here mentioned that they got interview invites from Case in July and August?

That's the time period in which Case was filling up their interview slots. After August, the door closes. 🙁

Yep, it's a well known fact that they reject basically everyone who applies late unless you have superstats. Well anyhow gl

hm, same situation with me i suspect. basically they were like "we can review your app now, or wait for your new dat scores, but we'll only do it once"... I was hesitant but i decided to wait... guess i blew it there!
