During my case interview, I accidentally said the word ass. I was talking with Rick Jurevic - if anyone knows who that is - and I told him a camping story, since we were talking about camping, and at the end I said "My friend got a ticket from the park ranger simply for being a pain in the ass." Am I screwed?

Within the context of your story, I don't think it sounds that bad. From your title, I thought you had said like fck, b*tch, or a-hole haha. It's just a common expression - sure you could've used "butt" instead but honestly it's not something I would stress about 👍.

I know Dr. Jurevic and I can assure you that he was not offended. He is a cool, easy going guy. Think back, after you said it did he respond strangely? I'm guessing he smiled or even laughed. I wouldn't worry about this at all. And congrats on the early interview. Interviewing at Case BEFORE December 1 pretty much gives you a 75% chance of acceptance. (It used to be about a 95% chance until they overaccepted one class a few years ago, now they don't send out as many acceptances on Dec. 1.)

what was your overall expression of the interview? what kind of questions did they ask? anyone else have any hints/tips on what to prepare besides the usual?
