Hey Guys,

I've spent the past few weeks deliberating in agony on which school to go to. I'm so grateful to have received the acceptances, yet, I'm having a heck of a time deciding. I would appreciate it if anybody would be willing to share their thoughts.

Thanks!

Nova> Case> NYU

warm weather for next 4 years 👍

Case OFF COURSE,

1) P/F, hands down ( even when boards are P/F, actually especially now that boards is P/F).

2) Case is the hardest to get in among the three

3) Good reputation

I hope you go with Case, b/c now you are looking at this decision from an undergrad point of view, but when you become a D student, you will notice there are some other factors to consider too.

Thanks everybody for your responses. I just want to clarify that these acceptances were for dental school. May I ask if you could clarify with regards to the D student factors?

The way I see it is that Case has a great reputation in dentistry. It has small classes and the teachers seem to be involved. The big downside is that it's in Cleveland.

NYU is also a good school. Large class sizes. Amazing city. The tuition between the two is similar, but the living costs at NYU will be undoubtedly higher.

Oh the decisions!

I agree, i think if you eliminate NYU because of the cost, CASE is the best option because of
1) class size
2) Pass/Fail course
3) rich history behind school
4)Cleveland's public health system ( which is one of the biggest and most effective ones in the country)

Not to derail the thread, but I just got an interview with Case, and my status on AADSAS shows "Interview Invite." Will I receive a letter or email stating directions to schedule the interview? Do you think I should give them a call now to schedule it or wait for communication.

Thanks for your help guys.

CALL ASAP ! BE PROACTIVE
by the way i didnt cross NYU b/c of cost. My two cents

BTW the numbers for Nova are completely wrong its probably like 350k when all is said and done... maybe 300k is you live in a box for 4 years.

Don't forget that CASE is part-PBL. If you like it, then good for you. But if you don't like it, its something to consider whether you want to attend the school.
