I don't know anything really about the way Case works. I know that I had my application into them by Aug. 8th, and that I still don't have an interview until Jan 28th, even with good scores, etc. However, I do know that they have no supplemental to fill out...all you have to do is send in the money, no extra essays, questions, or anything else. My advice would be this: If next year you aren't attending dental school, would you wish you had sent in $45 dollars just in case they had dipped into the waitlist? If you have a resounding "yes!" to that question, I would say, go ahead and give it your all. You lose money in this entire process anyway, what's another $45 bucks? I am not made of money, trust me. I have not bought myself a thing (this includes dinner out, new clothes for my birthday gift to myself, etc) since I began applying, because in my mind my gift will be the education I am fighting tooth and nail for (no pun intended there, actually). If you have a bunch of other interviews lined up, then maybe you don't have to worry about this, but even as a possible competitor against me, I would have to say, send in the money. It's a door you leave open for yourself.
