I interviewed there all the back in august, and i cant honestly remeber a lot about it.
My main concern is living in Cleveland...I really want to go to dent school, but at the smae time, i wanna move somewhere that i can have a good time living.
Being a dent student, i know we wont have much of a nightlife...but how is the city? Is there a lot to do?
What is the avg price for a nice apt around town?
Any additional info from case students would be much appreciated!!!!
Funny, I'm in the same boat... Case was my 2nd interview, back in early autumn. After so many new cities, it gets hard to keep the places straight! If you learn more, jmac81, please PM me with the info.
I found just few crappy apts around Case on internet. Anybody from there can shed any light ? Just wanna find a decent apt within walking distance from Case ?

Hmmm, what to do in cleveland. If you like to go out a lot, well, the flats are dead, except for a few random bars. Everybody heads to West 6th street downtown. There is a lot of awesome, trendy/upscale bars and clubs and it has been really popular the past couple years. Closer to campus is the Coventry area, which is made up of a bunch of bars and restaurants and is more laidback but still can be a good time, and it is much closer than downtown. Around university circle there are a ton of museums like the cleveland art museum (which is pretty good) and the natural history museum, and Severance Hall is also right on campus where the Cleveland Orchestra plays, which is an absolute must see because they are amazing. The lake is very close and there are a couple of somewhat ok beaches which are fun to head to every now and then. Skiing/snowboarding,,,well there is a couple small hills about a half hour from cleveland called Brandywine which doesnt compare to anything in New york, west virginia or anywhere for that matter, but its fun if you dont want to travel far to ski or board. Ok, i think I ran out of ideas, basically there will always be something to do in Cleveland, nothing even close to what you could find to do in Chicago or New York, but you can always find something if you like to go out and try new clubs/restaurants/etc.
