Posting this for the residents and fellows and whoever else wants to log their cases. The developers are a residents and a fellow and they have sunk their own savings into this endeavour so if you have an iphone or ipod touch give this program a try and support your fellow residents/fellows..

This is the LAST piece of the puzzle that I was waiting to fall into place so that I can trash my Palm and go iPhone. I am otherwise 100% Mac and have been for a long time.

Sure enough I go to the site and it is 2-guys from my own program. Bastards didn't even let me know they were working on it.

Excellent work Trux and Trask.

Dr. Trask, your punishment for not letting me in on this will be 3 extra 2nd call shifts a month. :meanie:

it looks like if you want to you can use it with the apple touch with no need to have AT&T

I'm interested to see how the database works b/f I commit

It sounds pretty good though, enter a case with the phone/touch and it automatically uploads to the datbase then creates the reports.

would save me a bunch time, I get behind every so often and then it takes me a few hours to catch up.

Not to be overly anal (with apologies to Gas), but I think he (or she) mean the iPod Touch. The iPod doesn't require any subscription of any kind (it's not a cell phone), but it can run all iPhone apps natively as well. I'm thinking about getting one for the programs eventually, and just keeping my relatively bare-bones cell plan. However, you have to carry the iPod and cell phone then too. So, it's a cost vs. convenience issue basically.

I'm gonna go with the extra cost(and headache of AT&T) and only carry one device.

Haven't found out yet if I can use my book fund money to cover the cost of the program

Does anyone know of any well-designed case-logging programs of this ilk that work on Windows Mobile devices?
